Hello! Today was a productive day with my production, my friends and I made the first couple scenes of my music video.  I have chosen the song " Leave The Door Open" by Bruno Mars, I have chosen this song because Bruno Mars is a popular pop star, it is family appropriate, and he is loved by many of the population. As well as his music and his music videos can become comical. Today, My friend and I have made the first scene of this video. The scene shows the sunset above the water at a park. My friends and I love to come to this park, it has a beautiful scene for the water and the pretty sky. So coming here to video was perfect, the scene then starts moving the camera slowly towards my friend and I having the conversation as the song goes. since the song has conversational lyrics. Since we are showing the sunset on the water, we are using high angles for the first scene. Since the entire song is a conversational, the plan is to have the entire music video go with the lyrics of the song and keep it a conversational music video.

My Pitch

Pitch A- Flickering Christmas lights all over the desk as the wind blows the pages of the book to a specific page that has words that contribute to something later on.  Pitch B- A man who won't show his face observes a woman with red heels through her living room window on Christmas morning. Discuss Pitch A- Showing the words on the page of the book gives the opening sequence suspense and plot. I would like to make this opening sequence as I could have this set up simply at my house. With the Christmas lights showing I could have this movie idea turn in any direction I would like to.  Discuss Pitch B- I would like to create this film because it creates a little suspense on who this man is and the relation of this man to this woman. Also, the red shoes are incorporated into this film. Is the man watching the woman or the red heels? As well as the reason for his pen and paper. Title Research: Bones

 The opening Title Sequence to the movie Bones. The letters are creepy and the opening sequence starts off with two men with coats and sunglasses. As this was an idea I had wanted to add to my opening sequence I love how this opening sequence interpreted it. The letters were shown and were creepy, the men were giving people money, but they gave a creepy and suspicious aspect. With also editing tools, the screen glitches up giving off a scary sense to the audience. I loved how this opening sequence went about, as this was not a classic horror opening title sequence.
