My video engages the audience by the editing of my video and the title. The view of the night sky in the beginning. This video represents social groups because it shows the two ends of the people talking and having a conversation as they are in two different social groups.  This project helped me learn and develop my production skills by researching and watching multiple music videos to g et more ideas and understanding. I also was able to get more comfortable with being in front of the camera.  I integrated online research into my project, I used an iPhone for the videoing, and a computer for the music so I could listen while videoing. I then used editing apps on my computer as well as on my iPhone to create this video.

 With the help of my friends i had finally finished the music video. I used my friends Alan's part of the video as if me and him were on the phone throughout the entire conversational lyrics. We acted with what the lyrics of the music said, into the music video. I danced in the rain for the romance and dancing part of the video with a friend and it was pretty fun. I recorded my first part in the car to match my friends part to him sitting in the car. I videoed me showing my house to match the lyrics about the clean house and pool, to match the lyrics of the song. This video was fun to make, as well as having a good song. I love bruno mars and his music so i liked how everything went about and turned out with the music video.

 Today I researched about editing applications as well as the usages of these applications. "Megisto" has been the new application for editing my music video. This app provides formatting for your videos, templates, styles, titles and music. My plan is to use this app for the title and style for my music video. I am also thinking to use Imovie as well once again. I was thinking to add the music through Imovie. I had my friend video himself as if he was talking on the phone, as me on the other line. I used his video to start off the music video as the conversational lyrics started coming through. The videos were a bit complicated to cut in clips nicely. However it worked out. I used Imovie for this, to be able to cut through clips. 

 Hello! Today was a productive production day, however did decide to add something to all the scenes of this music video. I have decided to have telephone scenes. Telephone scenes where one of my friends and I talk through the phone and switching between clips of me and clips of them talking through the phone. The reason for the added telephone scenes was because since the song by Bruno Mars, "Leave the door open" The song is two people having a conversation mostly throughout the song. So adding the telephone scenes throughout the music video on the conversational lyrics can not only allow smoother transitions, but also seem more organized. This will go along with the music video perfectly. Adding the telephone scenes wont change up the scenes I have already done or planned for. Such as the sunset beginning is still connected in the beginning of the video.   

Hello! Today was a productive day with my production, my friends and I made the first couple scenes of my music video.  I have chosen the song " Leave The Door Open" by Bruno Mars, I have chosen this song because Bruno Mars is a popular pop star, it is family appropriate, and he is loved by many of the population. As well as his music and his music videos can become comical. Today, My friend and I have made the first scene of this video. The scene shows the sunset above the water at a park. My friends and I love to come to this park, it has a beautiful scene for the water and the pretty sky. So coming here to video was perfect, the scene then starts moving the camera slowly towards my friend and I having the conversation as the song goes. since the song has conversational lyrics. Since we are showing the sunset on the water, we are using high angles for the first scene. Since the entire song is a conversational, the plan is to have the entire music video go with the lyrics of...

Since I'm doing the song "Leave the door open" by Bruno Mars, Anderson, Paak, Silk Sonic Scene 1: To start off the movie, with a scenery, such as a sunset on the water.  Scene 2: This scene will be straight from a scenery of the sunset then just moves to a conversation between two people. Since this is how the song starts off with.  Scene 3: My friend and I, will be reenacting the part of the character being in the robe relaxing. as the song says "sipping in a robe"  Scene 4: My friend and I will be showing a clean house as the song says "My house clean" My friend will also show us at the pool hanging out as the song says "the pool water warm"  Scene 5: We will be dancing as the song describes the characters dancing, the song then says "In this mansion" the video will then zoom out and show the house.  Scene 6: My friend and I will have a video clip of opening the door as the song says "Leave the door open"
